Eco-Design, what is it?

Eco-Design is a methodology included in the Action Plan on Circular Economy that integrates environmental aspects in the product manufacturing process in order to reduce environmental impact and make efficient use of the energy consumed, and thus reduce gas emissions.

Almost 80% of the environmental impact of a product is given during the design phase. That’s why making a durable, recyclable product is one of the biggest challenges.

What exactly does this Eco-design mean?

Thanks to the guidelines set by this environmental plan, the impact of the product can be reduced in all phases of its useful life: from the acquisition of natural raw materials to the subsequent recycling design.

What is this intended to achieve?

  • Reduce the use of polluting raw materials.
  • Reduce energy consumption in the use phase of the product.
  • Reduce the damage caused by transport linked to its international demand.

Does Farho comply with this regulation?

The answer is YES. At Farho we make more efficient use of the energy consumed by radiator and reduce emissions.

Bet on efficient heating that respects the environment.
